Multiple concerts, food openings and community events mark Austin weekend of March 19-22

Luck Reunion returns to Spicewood on March 19 at 1100 Bee Creek Road, bringing a lineup led by Trampled by Turtles and St. Vincent. The event, tied to Willie Nelson, features additional acts such as Joshua Ray Walker, Kaitlin Butts and Ghostland Observatory, and runs at various times through the day.

Rodeo Austin continues through March 28 at 9100 Decker Lake Road, offering traditional rodeo competitions, fairground rides and nightly concerts. Performers scheduled at the rodeo include Midland, William Clark Green, Anne Wilson and Randall King, providing country and mainstream music alongside the rodeo attractions.

On Rainey Street, Kinsho will open its doors on March 18 at 51 Rainey St., Suite 140A, marking the neighborhood's first sushi-focused concept. The restaurant is led by Nick Ford and Wade McElroy, the duo behind Rocco's, and will serve nigiri, sashimi, maki, hand rolls and kushiyaki skewers in an a la carte format.

Pet Honesty plans a launch party for its new Brush Buddies dental treat at Yard Bar on March 21, starting at 3:30 p.m., located at 6700 Burnet Road. The canine-friendly celebration will include product samples, raffle prizes, drink tickets and a dog-themed photo booth; the event is for guests 21 and older.

The spring equinox on March 20 brings opportunities to get outdoors across Austin and the Hill Country, from scenic hikes and new trail openings to alfresco dining and free fitness classes. Local listings highlight roughly 40 ideas for outdoor recreation and seasonal outings for residents and visitors.

Community and club music options round out the weekend. Love Your Music Fest, a free all-ages showcase presented by Sonic Guild, takes place March 21 at 1 p.m. at East End Ballroom, 4715 E. Hotel Vegas stages Spring Break Boogie March 19-22 at 1502 E. Sixth St., a 21-and-up series featuring bands such as Ringo Deathstarr, Rattlesnake. Milk, Daiistar, Grocery Bag and Money Chicha.
