Austin offers a mix of nightlife, volunteer opportunities, and charitable events across the March 5-8 weekend. Local businesses, nonprofits, venues, and volunteer organizations have scheduled activities meant to engage residents across neighborhoods.

Boni's Bar Next Door, created by the team behind Lenoir, opens on March 6 at 1805 South First Street. The venue occupies a restored 1934 bungalow in Bouldin Creek, and the team decorated the space with family heirlooms, reclaimed materials, and a vintage piano. The cocktail menu includes a classic gin and tonic, a sherry- and mezcal-based margarita, a Papa Doble, and a seasonal Carajillo.

Keep Austin Adopting runs March 6 through March 8 at various locations, inviting the public to name their own adoption fee for dogs and cats. Participating groups include TRAPRS, Love-A-Bull, Rescue ATX Dogs, Classic Canines, Austin Pets Alive!, Austin Animal Services, Austin Humane Society, Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, and Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services. Organizers hope to place 200 animals during the three-day effort, and animals available will be fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated.

Amplify Austin Day returns as a 24-hour fundraising drive, starting Wednesday at 6 p.m. and running through March 5 at 6 p.m. Donors can give to more than 750 nonprofits during the period, including local picks like TRAPRS, HAAM, Preservation Austin, and Jack Jack's Pack. The single-day format concentrates donations and matching gifts to support area organizations.

Parley ATX will host a 365 Things Austin celebration on March 6 at 1628 East Cesar Chavez Street. The event will offer $3.65 coffee from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., then $3.65 margaritas from 3 p.m. to 6:05 p.m. Organizers will also distribute free shirts and other merchandise while supplies last.

Music fans can catch Lady Gaga at the Moody Center for two performances during the MAYHEM Ball, with shows on March 8 and March 9 at 8 p.m., located at 2001 Robert Dedman Drive. The pop star will perform hits from across her catalog for the two-night run.

Austin Parks Foundation hosts It's My Park Day on March 7 with volunteer shifts across the city. Volunteers can sign up for tasks such as tree mulching, planting, invasive species removal, and litter pickup, with a full list of projects available at austinparks.org. For a daytime entertainment option, Record Play Live stages a New Jack Swing edition of its trivia game on March 8 at 4 p.m., at 2415B East Fifth Street, Unit B, featuring R and B selections from artists like Boyz II Men, Bobby Brown, and Janet and Michael Jackson.
